DON’T PAY BECKY NO MIND

If you don’t want to regret it, don’t pay Becky no mind
Cause she’s   tired and pissed off, about half of the time
You don’t wanna cross her path, if she’s having a bad day

You might consider leaving town, or maybe leaving the state

When she goes out shopping, she   sparkles like a diamond ring
But if she waits til she gets hungry, she   might get a little mean
Becky don’t suffer no fools, if the   waitress gets her order wrong
There ain’t no thunder and lightning, coming   before the   storm

CHORUS
She don’t march to the beat, of everybody else’s drum
When she shows up to party, she might bring one of her own
Trying to figure her out, like a   tattoo past its prime
If you don’t want to regret it, don’t pay   Becky no   mind

TURNAROUND

She’s   living proof that even blind, pigs can still find food
She’ll   stop traffic on city streets, to help a little duck cross the road
She’s the kind of person to end up, in an old John Prine song
Can’t   remember the words, we’ll just hum right along

2ND CHORUS
Karma gets her every time, In just a minute or two
Don’t stand too close to Becky, or her Karma might even get you
It’s monkey see and monkey do, we’re all monkeys sometime
If you don’t want to regret it, don’t pay   Becky no mind

TAG
It’s monkey see and monkey do, we’re all monkeys sometime
If you don’t want to regret it,  don’t pay   Becky no   mind
