In December 2025, Barry released his 29th album of original songs. His first four studio albums were recorded with McClain's Recordings in Garland, Texas, between 2008 and 2019. These four albums garnered numerous awards and 13 #1 Independent International Radio Hits.

Ever productive in songwriting and production, Barry has consistently released numerous albums each year. These include compilation albums of duets titled "Gals and Guys - The Duet Album" which features 12 duets with award-winning singers Marty Wolfe, Jolina Carl, Danah Heiser, and Gitty Bauersfeld from Germany, Vivian Searcy from Sweden, Danielle Poot from The Netherlands, the late Ann Pascoe from New Zealand, Micheal Lonstar from Poland and Daniel T. His highlight as a songwriter came about in 2021. Inspired by the 100th Anniversary of the Tulsa, Oklahoma Race Massacre of 1921, he wrote the songs for a historical album based on the events. In 2022, he was commissioned by the German Arts Society to bring this project to fruition. Barry gathered various voices to help tell the story of the event. This album is titled "Burning Of Tulsa". In that same productive year, he wrote and produced another album about social injustice, titled "Sundown Towns".

2023 was another productive year with "Bluegrass from the Crooked Road". A compilation of 18 Bluegrass-style songs that he had written and recorded. In addition, he released a unique album titled "My Friends-My Songs". A collection of 17 various country artists from the US and Europe, lending their voices to the original tracks of songs Barry has written and previously recorded.

Also in 2023, he released "Family Tree," which tells the story of his ancestors' immigration to America. In November, he released Better Life, another collection of original country songs. In 2025, released an EP titled "For The Love Of Jimmy and John" as a tribute to the late Jimmy Buffett and John Prince. Followed by "My First Love, "Songs I Sing Every Night", "Stolen Voices", and "Honky Tonks & Bad Choices".

Barry grew up in the foothills of the mystical Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia and has been serenading crowds around the world with his special brand of original music and other favorites for over 52 years. In his fifth decade of songwriting and performing, his repertoire includes more than 900 songs from 450 different recording artists, spanning from music's roots to those songs of today in genres of Americana, Country, Irish Folk, Rockabilly, Classic Rock, Swing, and R&B, in addition to over 300 original songs.

In his 29th year of performing as a solo artist based in Germany, he has opened shows for 5-time Grammy Winner and Tejano Music Legend "Flaco Jimenez", Grammy-winning Tejano Band "Los Texmaniacs", die-hard Honky Tonker "Dale Watson", and Canada's Best Known Bluegrass Group "The Goods".

Highly skilled and innovative, he is a walking encyclopedia of songs. His interpretations make every song his own, with style and respect for the legends.

Maintaining the tradition of the Troubadour, he's armed with a ringing acoustic guitar and strong voice to entertain crowds from 1 to 1000 or more.
